Just bought a new Busa was wondering if anyone has tried the GenMar risers(3/4 or 1 1/4 in) and how you liked them?

I have them on my Busa. I don't remember what its like riding without them. If you search for GenMar, I'm sure you'll come up with all the info you need.
 
Risers help a lot when it comes to comfort. You don't get nearly as much pressure on your hands and wrists with them. Personally I went the low-budget route and made my own. Ran about $15 - $20 in parts from the local hardware store.
 
you can use stock lines or you can have longer line made which would also improve the fell of the brakes. let me know if you risers or lines.
 
i ordered a set of 1.25 risers and pair valve block off kit came to total of $46....what a deal!

yeah for $30 you can't beat it. I have had mine since about 2 weeks after I got the bike and love how they change the seating position. Much better.
 
I bought the genmar for my 06 within a month of getting the bike. A world of difference for me. I put them on myself. Not to hard really. No cable changes although I did have to move both the clutch and brake parts in a little so they would not hit the windscreen. The only other thing was that the fast idle cable is a little tight. I did have to readjust the brake cable were it is clamped to the fork. Not a problem though. Worth the money.

I went the cheap hardware store route, too. Easy install, only about 30 minutes, and only about $15! Love the new body positioning, especially with having the little bit lower Tobin seat, very comfortable.
 
they require minor shield trimming only on the edge
as shown in this pic


but its not very noticeable if you didnt know

I really like them the position is much more comfortable than stock
they must give more leverage or something because it seems like the bike feels lighter and smaller and sems to turn in quiker
