The whole grip assembley is shorter. You will need to drill a new hole in your handlebar for the switch housing. This would be the hole that keeps it from "rotating" on the handlebar. If you have never had your switch housings apart, you may not know what I'm talking about.
And BTW, the Bar end's job it to have a bit of weight to it to keep your handlebars from flapping from vibration. The Rizoma's will defeat the purpose.
