Barrett-Jackson sold Robosaurus over the weekend (Begged wife to spend her inheritance, he would have fit in my backyard too!), made me wonder how much we would all have to pitch in to have purchased him for the .org, Then what would we feed him? I watched it sell and they basically had to beg the bidders to get it up that high. It came with all the TV gear and spare parts and promotional stuff and training and even maintinence.

They said 5 million dollar cost to build, 10% of build cost might have been a bargain?

Not sure about return on investment, only so much money to be had promoting at shows. I bet buider didnt recoup all his money. I bet the new owner bought it as a toy.
