RPM check

What tool would I use?  

Where would I hook it up.


I'm looking for something to tell me rpm's without using the OEM tach on the gauge cluster.

PCIII usb... hook it up to your laptop and it will tell you. If you have one that is... otherwise your busting into your wiring...

I have the pc3usb with the display screen and both the rpm readings are the same.

that's why you can rev out higher on the tach (indicated)when you hit the (actual) rev limit

I've seen someone people talk about it a time or two on here but i couldnt tell ya... sorry. Hopefully someone can tell you.
