RSD's RIDE is READY

bin workin on my sled for awhile , she's pretty much done. I got out for a ride tonight for an hour or so .

It took awhile . I went from 8 painted parts(thats stock) to 36 painted parts .

I polished about 15 parts .

I'm shooting for a garden hose bike . Pull it outa the garage,hose it down,looks beautifull....ride. All of the polished will be chrome one day when I have time . Right now I just wanna ride .

I wanted everything on the bike to be 1 of 3 things :
painted , polished , or black(seats n' tires)

hav a good 1.....I did.....RSD.

I attempted a few things I have never seen....
bored of chrome,billet,aftermarket....

so I painted my tripple tree cover...

oya...the color I chose for my sled was Metallic Impact Blue

instead of the usual chrome or else nothing , I squirted my masters, brake an' clutch...

pic looks dull....but they aren't...

here I took the stock gas lid , an' polished everything except the key cover , looks kinda cool I think....

those "textured" flat black knee guards....hate 'em...

Did you think about doing the rubber boots on the mirrors or removing them and painting the stems?

next....I turned my sights on my BIGGEST Busa pet peeves...

those ugly gold rotors...

that advertising for Tokico...

the shiddy finish on the fork lowers....

I ground off the word Tokico from my front calipers, prepped the gold for paint on the rotors , and squirted them fork lowers here is how she turned out....

Revlis will love these "Low-$" mods....

ya....those are stock cans....an' those mid pipes are stain'less....THANKS TONY.....I re-touched 'em of course.

That bike is looking sweet, I like all of the "extra" stuff that you did to the bike. You normally don't see that kind of stuff.

I have 3 chain guards , ally, custom, an' this one....STOCK.

Stock.... but painted.

I'm goin' with stock but painted....

I always really hated the poor casting job Zook did in the sprocket carrier...

kick stand . The aftermarket ,over priced ones are kinda kool....I like mine bedder....
