A former colleague of mine got hold of me this morning to tell me he and his wife of 30+ yrs had got a divorce....he didn't tell anyone until it was all finalized.
In 2019 he and his wife bought brand new V Stroms, her a 650 and him a 1000 both had the full MSRP sheet thrown at them.
During the divorce, they decided to sell their house, even though it was already staged by the realtor, they had nowhere to store their bikes yet so they stayed in the garage. Apparently one of the couples who looked at the house wanted to get into motorcycling so they put an offer on the house at full asking price plus if the bikes were included.
Long story short, my buddy went out and bought a new V Strom in the exact same color that @c10 posted a picture of before he got his Triumphs.
While getting the bike sorted out, he met up with an old high school girlfriend and it turns out she is single...sooooo, now he has a new bike and girlfriend who works in a Suzuki dealership....
My wife told me not to get any great ideas and the chances of anyone looking at our house wanting my bike is slim at best...
I guess I have to keep her afterall.....
