Sad day for Law Enforcement

Why is it that these days more and more LEO's and teachers are getting themselves into trouble? I work with this guy, and i would have never seen him as being a person who would do this type of thing. I know thats what all the neighbors say about the child molestors and rapists, "oh he was such a nice guy", bla bla bla, but ive worked with this guy for 2 and a half years now and would have never thought he would do something like this.

I would like to not believe it, but it seems there is quite a bit of evidence against him. I wish him good luck and hope the truth comes out.

Some of those 16 yr olds look like they are 21. Still no excuse for a LEO to do that

Sorry this happened to someone you knew/worked with... But, he deserves everything they throw at him IF the allegations are substantiated!

Powertripper. Hope he gets all he deserves, as well as the other cop for not saying anything when he saw it.

It's sad, but true that you can never truly know someone, even when you think that you do...sorry this one is hitting so close to home for you

IF he's guilty of this crime, I hope he pays for what he's done...I have no sympathy for those that take advantage of children, period.

I dont understand how he is still getting paid while still under investigation, I would think that they would not pay while suspended.

I know he was wrong for doing it on duty, and IF the allegations of him threatening her are true then hes wrong on that too. The only problem i see (and not only in this case) is that these girls, even at 16 know what they are doing having sex with older men. Then, they go brag about it and the man gets in trouble, meanwhile the girl gets off as the "victim".

I understand that as the adult, you should know better, but what about situations where a girl will say she is older than she is? Everyone here has seen it, a girl you would swear is 21 or so, only to find that she is only 16.

Man...what's in the water in FL?

#1 He is wrong to do it at all...on duty or not.

#2 He knew exactly how old she was.

#3 She did not brag about it. She was seen by another officer who also was on duty.

#4 At least stores ID people trying to buy beer. Maybe older people should ID young girls before they have sex with them.

He's a looser... And just for the fact that most of the public puts trust in theses people, they should fry his balls in oil.

I dont disagree that he was wrong. I guess im thinking of other cases where the girl would lie or brag. There is no defense to what he did, and im not trying to defend his actions.

in 04.. thats complete horsesh!t even if it's true.... i'm not saying he was right for what he has done... but the reality of it is... y say somthing after 4yrs have gone by... i think he's gonna get off just purely based off the fact it's so long ago, and provided that the girl don't drop a dime on him.. it's his word vs. the fella who's accusing him of the crime.. either way it's sad....

Brian, it's only because you know this guy that you are cutting him a break, any adult man that is making with a 16 year old has issues. Teenaged girls may look like women, but they're not.
