Saddlebags

I am taking my bike on a 2,000 mile trip to Canada and need a set of bags. I would prefer ones that (1) don't scratch the finish; (2) don't look bulky; and, (3) are well made. I don't require the very largest bags. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Saddlebags suck, they damage plastic, especially when it rains!!...

A 45 liter bag that doesn't touch the bike! Plus a luggae rack in the rear or you can zip another 45 liter bag to it or a 35 liter.. your choice!

I love mine, it holds a lot of stuff, very solid and quick release.. feels like a small perfect passenger.. holds us solid over 200kph...

$350 US I believe, includes the bag rack and a smaller pack rack...

I love my RKA supersport saddlebags. If you've got a little extra time, they can do custom colors with custom trim.

Our standard style saddlebags are 47 liters 8"W 12"H x 15"L. Internal support system, 60 thousandths ABS inserts, Sherpa fleece backing to protect your body bodywork. The standard saddlebag 47 liter attachment system attaches to the seat independent of the saddlebags so the bags will not shift from side to side. Cam buckle straps front and rear, to keep the bags stable in heavy acceleration and braking.

YKK zippers and YKK buckles and hardware are used on all of our luggage. A Sherpa fleece like material is used on all parts that touch the motorcycle. We use a 1000 denier cordura nylon coated for water resistants, a 3/8 inch thick foam is combined onto a 200 denier coated nylon for the main compartments of our bags, giving the luggage a very finished and plush look. Where needed we us inserts of 60 thousandths ABS (plastic). Giving our luggage solid shaping and structure, and our saddlebags almost a hardbag like look even when empty .
