Well fellas tomorrow she gets taken away by insurance. they gave me $11,800 for the bike. i have been talking with the wife and with her being in grad school for PT(physical therapy) at the moment we could use a little extra cash in the bank(the crap isnt cheap), so i found a GREAT deal on an 06 GSXR 1000 with all the mods(swing arm, air shifter, pc 3, sprockets, chain, pro ama arata exhaust system, 30 shot dry, chrome rims, hid, lowering links, triple tree, Dyno Tuned by RPM Performance, etc & 6,000 miles) I know the guy who owned it and he took great care of this bike, all that for $8,500. and im still going to pocket about 4,000 plus pain and suffering. i hate saying goodbye to my busa, but i know in a few years when the wife is done and has her docterate i will be on another one. you will still see me around here though, at least i kept it in the family,(Suzuki):rulez:.... take care guys...

Good bye is only Hello in a different language, stay frosty and let us know how that GSXR rides.:beerchug:

Good luck in whatever you decide to do...whatever it is, though; ride safe and stop in from time to time and let us know you're okay.

There are people on the board that do not even own a bike. You're more than welcome to stick around. And what's the story? ???

Sorry to hear she's going, but you'll get that GSXR and have a blast! Don't run off...we'd love to keep you here

I plan on stickin around, to answer some of the other questions Yes i had a girl make a left hand turn in front of me about 3 weeks ago(i posted a thread about it), she was about 10 ft in front of me in the turn lane getting ready to turn left i was goiong about 20mph or so and she decided to go then relized what she done and slammed on her breaks about 3/4 of the way into my lane. i locked them up and didnt have enough time to stop and hit her head on I bailed off the bike, before the impact. To make a long story short the bike got totaled, and they gave me 11800 for it so i couldnt pass it up. I had to take it because that is almost unheard of. any how thatswhy insurance is coming to get it today. thanks a bunch peeps and you better belive i will be posting the pic of the new ride when i get it...:beerchug:

Hey, Brandon. Sounds like you did alright on your off, glad you had insurance. I'm sure everyone would like to see the pics of your new addition, whenever you get a chance. And you know there is literally no reason for you to think this site is for busa owners only! I look forward to hooking up with you at another MnG, maybe not on my busa (still working on putting it back together) but possibly my son's '06 K. He's been talking about (dare I say it?!?..yes, I dare!!) lowering and stretching (OMGoodness!! Was that just a big collective sigh of diappointment I heard?...yes, I believe it was!) it, but hasn't been satisfied with the 'how far's' that he's looked at to this point.

Hope you recover from your injuries well and can't wait to see the pics!

Have a Good 'un, my brother!! :beerchug:
