Scam on EBAY?

This guy is selling this bike and has no idea that it is TURBO. I e-maild him and asked him where the yoshimura tri oval duplex exhaustwas because I couldnt see it in the pics (I was playing dumb) he said the TRI oval was that short pipe out of the side of the bike.

Oh nd he will not take anything but a money order, and then will ship the bike once he gets the money.

Sounds like a typical e-Bay scam to me. You might even get some real looking e-mails from e-Bay telling you to give him the money if you keep questioning this guy. Some of these people are very sharp and can make everything look like it is on the level but the bottom line is, if the price seems to be low and they want money in advance in the way of certified money orders or checks it might be a scam. When they tell you that the bike is at the shipping company because the last customer refused it and they will ship it to you for free, it is really time to watch out.

Of course it was a scam...it is now Invalid. Let's keep on the lookout, I'm sure it'll pop back up on ebay within a few weeks under a different seller.
