Scorpio alarm help

I need some help with my alarm. I took it off my old bike a while back, and now decided to install it on my Busa. Problem is I can't find the instuctions anywhere, and I don't remember where all the wires went. It is the alarm with pager and ignition kill. So far I am sure the red and black wires go to the battery, and the two yellows go to the turn signals. I am guessing the orange wire on the main unit goes to an ignition on source, and the purple wire on the main unit goes to the purple wire on the ignition kill. I know the brown wires from the igintion kill splice in series with the coils, but I don't know which wire I should tap into to avoid thwoing on the FI light. If anyone could confirm my guesses and/or suggest where to splice into the factory harness, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, but I already had the website address. I was hoping to install it tomorrow, and don't think I can talk to anyone at Airtronix by then.

I have the instructions for the cyl 300. Give a shout if you need help. I dont have the ign. kill or the pager but it should be in the instructions I assume.

Thanks CaveDweller, that confirms my guess that the orange wire is for an igntion switch on signal. As for the ignition kill, since I already have it, I might as well use it. Besides, not all thieves are smart enough to use a truck. For example, I work in the service department of a car dealer. One morning there was a car missing all four wheels in the parking lot. A thief had stolen four steel wheels and hubcaps, but had used an alloy wheel off the next car to prop the car up and get his jack out. If a thief is going to go throught the trouble to steal the wheels, you think he'd at least upgade to alloys.

Com'on the ignition kill is a great way to muck with your buddy who's dying to ride your Busa.

If someone needs the instuctions, If I can find them, I'll scan and email 'em.

Hey Mabusa. I probably have an older 200 model since I bought it back in 96. The wiring for it may be the same as your model though. All I really need to know is what the orange and purple wires connect to. I still have the instuctions for the ignition kill, but need to know what wire on the Busa to slice into preferably at the ECU. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks

Chris

As I recall there are 5 wires (I do not have the ign. kill option - just the alarm/pager)

Red and black are + and - 12 Volts from the battery

the other three are right and left turn signals and the tail light. The turn signal wires are yellow (I think) and the tail light was orange.

The easy way is,
1) connect battery wires since they are unambiguous
2) connect the turn signal wires. They are the same color and right and left don't matter.
3) the remaining wire is the tail light connection.

Unfortunately, I cant help with the Ignition kill wiring (except to confirm that it is a purple wire).

BTW: Why not just leave it off ? Where I live, thieves throw bikes in the back of trucks and vans. They do not drive them away. About all I can do is try to get warned that my bike is being messed with, a kill swich would do me little good.

Hope that helps.
