I finished my install last week, with the exception of the "anti-hijack"/ignition cutout (call it what you will) option. I am very happy with the unit itself but I noticed nobody posted any pics of their installation (at least I couldn't find any). So, I am posting a couple here.
I have not decided whether I will actually complete the anti-hijack module connection or not. I am concerned about a malfunction while riding. If anyone has any thoughts on this, please feel free to let me know.
I spoke with Greg at Aritronix last week about the anti-hijack connection and he suggested that there is a 2-wire connector under the seat with a black and a black-white wire connection, and that I should tap into the black-white. To test this, I unplugged the connector shown in the picture and voila, the FI light comes on and the bike won't start. I BELIEVE this is the connection to tap into, then. Given my placement of the module, I will have to lengthen the factory leads from the module itself should I decide to go ahead with the connection. In fact, I may enhance the connection and use male/female connectors so I can fairly easily bypass this module in the event of a malfunction.
I apologise in advance for my poor photographic abilities.. I'm a lover, not a photographer!
