I was removing the dust seal on my fork to inspect the oil seal and i left a hairline scratch about a 1/3 of an inch running vertical to the leg. I'm getting ready to change the seals and was wondering if this could be buffed w a mildly abrasive metal polish or should i take to someone to have it done or quit being so OCD bout my ride and just forget about it
