SCRATCHES ON FRONT FORK

during washing I spoted some scratches like discoloration of the front forks golden color.Oil seals must be blamed and some dirt because of their tight contact with the forks I believe.I put a very thin layer of silicon grease on the forks to eliminate the friction.Any other suggestions?

I think you can use some superfine polishing paper to buff 'em out.
