I just recieved my new chrome screens from BallZmotorsports(thanks Josh), and i was preparing to install and began thinking of the 2 surfaces and the best material to join the 2. If you use Epoxy then what is to stop the screens from vibrating and creating a noise(cause you place epoxy every inch or so). Using silicone will seal all around the screen and prevent noise, but is it durable enough to hold screens in place(especially at highway speeds).

I am entertaining the thought of using clear house caulk. does anybody have a better idea?

I just use high heat epoxy from Home depot or auto zone. JB weld makes one. For the 2 bucks it costs for the tube i just put it around the whole edge of the screens. Whatever you do make sure you use something that is rated High temp.

100% Silicon user here.... Screens have been in for over three years!
Not one problem.

I use silicon. It will hold them in there, and if you do have to remove them, you can cut it with a razor blade. The epoxy gets so hard, it will chip the plastic if you try to remove it.

Silicone caulk...I would think the heat would let them slide right out. I use the epoxy that came with my chrome screen, what a pain mixing. Ive since redune them with loc-tight ( epoxy ) from home depo. That has no mixing...dual tube but self mixing and sets in 5 min.

Wifey and I got our screens from the org.(can't remember who)and the instructions showed to soder them on by melting the plastic...Don't worry your not heating it up long and it only takes seconds..put screens in place and hold down with screw driver and the apply pressure to screen and plastic with sodering gun and within seconds ...BOOM !!!!! stuck !! continue every inch or so...
