\"SEARCH\" help needed

I share you pain.
Searching on this site seems utterly useless.
I've tried "oil change", "oil+change" etc., with hits coming back on helmets, tires, and wheelies.

I suppose there is a help document around here somewhere.

(The one thing I found that helped some was to only use 1 word in the search.)

Bruce, as I understand this particular problem, it stems from a too-fine screen clogging up with debris from the tank. I also understand that SOME owners have gotten it replaced with an updated(coarser) screen at no cost, while some have had to pay the window. Thankfully, I've had no issue with my '99.

Folks, it seems that when I search for particular words within a topic - After long waits, I generally get hits on every post made to this site. ?? Search examples are welcome....

I would really like to review the many posts people have rendered about the clogged fuel filters / cut outs / fuel lines. I've had 2 cut-outs on my 99 (2,200 miles) and I'm hoping to understand and resolve the problem.

I never assumed it was BigDogs fault.

I understand that it had to be UBB.

No sweat... it's just as a new 'Bus owner, I've been desparately trying to use these boards to research all my questions, and it takes a LONG time to find pertinent information...
All the info is here, just finding it sucks!
