Seat Lock Relocation

I'm in the middle of a Busa overhaul and I'm wanting to close up the key hole on the tail and relocate it somewhere less visible. Has anyone done this and had any luck? Thanks

I have to say that is one thing they did right on the Gen II. I like the Keyhole relocation on the Gen II

I'm thinking to relocate it to the side tail cutout but I'm not sure how to extend the braided cable that actually pulls on the release. ???

You would more than likely have to simply buy a cable for a different lock that will work...

some shops that make throttle cables could make you an extended cable with the proper ends.
