OK - I could tell you that I had my Busa going so fast that the cover came off my seat, or that after playing golf I was stunt riding and forgot to take off my spikes and stood up in the seat at 85mph ( But I dont play golf ) or even that the neighbors dog came over and chewed on the seat, ( but even the dog knows to stay away from my bike ) or maybe just maybe a giant peregrine falcon got pissed I outran him and swooped down and attacked my seat. ( look up Hayabusa if this doesnt make sense ) But the truth of the matter is ..........................

I need a damn spare front seat I can send off to Tobin to have one made. anyone got one they no longer need and are not trying to retire on the money they make off the seat. Ebay is crazy. Thought I found one with 5 holes in it and a giant scuff and it still went for 50.00.

Anyone anyone Help a Busa Rider out.

Been going on pretty long rides an I hate stopping for anything other than fuel I am going to bite the bullet an down the bike to get the seats done by Tobin. Stock seat kinda gets rough after a couple hundred miles. To many people have good things to say about his work to be false I think.

I just sent mine today. I will probably miss this weekend riding. I think Tobin uses UPS and I don't think UPS delivers on Saturdays.

I was hoping to keep my stock one just in case I dont like the tobin, But from what I have heard that is probably not going to be the case, I am still going to try and get another and if I like the tobin I can always sell mine then.

I think Tobin has seats ... look at his site ... two prices - one for your seat and another (higher) for "no seat". Worth a call?

Why not have it done, and if you don't like it, sell it here and buy another stock one? PS Tobin lists vendors where you can buy a seat; he doesn't offer them for sale.

If you don't want to be down for an extended time, get a spare seat. I have been down for two weekends. Mailed seat on a monday, two day shipping. turnaround is 4-5 days, then it has to be shipped back. I'm sure it will all be worth it though. The seats look awesome in all the pictures I have seen. No pain, No gain.

I bought an extra seat from a bike salvage yard for 50 bucks last year and sent it to Tobin, I still have my original seat.

50 bucks who want's it?
