got an 05 with almost 13000 miles on her.(we like to ride) earlier i posted a noise i was hearing when i take off. its like a knock down by the clutch area. the part i dont understand is that if i ease the clutch out it wont do it. anyone have any ideas. please anyone!

My 02 lets me know my chain is lose with the same noise!

if the chain is to tight, to lose, or just right it makes the noise.

Maybe it's time for new cush drive rubbers.

i heard that before. but the sound comes from right under me not from the back

Got an 04 with 32K. And yes sometimes we are sure that the sound came from under the bike and not from back,BUT, same happen to me at 19k and I just replace cush drive and sound went away. Now I have to replace them again"noise is start to come". But make sure your chain is adjusted to specs and it's well lube.
