I have a Suzuki bra...Black leather with real carbon fiber sides and the Hayabusa symbol on top...very nice.
 
i recieved my silver blue SECOND LOOK 1/2 tank cover today via 2 day ups. boy what a dissapointment. my lockhart phillips cover has a felt liner, this thing is just rough vinyl and stitching, gee you think for 3x the cost of a LP you would get a felt liner so not to scratch the tank, HELLO SECOND LOOK ARE YOU LISTENING, THE IDEA OF A TANK COVER IS TO PREVENT SCRATCHES NOT CAUSE THEM.
 
My LP w/ felt backing caused marks not easily waxed out on my other bike. The felt holds dirt (bugs, sand, etc).

I'm looking into one of the stick-on pads that look like a piece of tire or maybe the clear vinyl stick-ons.

I heard the 12r guys are using Always w/ wings.
 
Thanks for the info. That is very lame. I prefer the traditional black look of a tank bra anyway. I've had very good luck with Lockhart bras on my previous bike and will probably pick up one for the Busa. Does Suzuki itself make one for the Busa, and is it any good.?
 
I saw a tank bra that was all black and had the Jap character on it (near the top). I'm guessing it was a Suzuki product. -Anyway, it looked pretty good, well good if you like tank bras.
 
i have had a suzuki tank cover on order for 3 weeks, they are on "national backorder" or so says my dealer, that is why i bought the second look.
