Note:
Even though the malfunction code C00 is indicated, the previous malfunction history code still remains in the ECM. Therefore, erase the history code memorized in the ECM using SDS.

I can not find anywhere in the manual where SDS is described, so I figured that someone out there knows. I fiqure that once it is explained I will feel rather dumb.

Simple Digital Systems.

A gadget made by Honeywell I believe. Plugs into ECU and other fuel injection control systems and allows programing/deleting of codes etc.

RSD.

SDS can also be found within' some fuel injection systems these days allowing direct connections thru PC's,laptop, perhaps handhelds as well.
