Do check on the past issue of either sports rider or cycle world, their recommended settings sits just fine for track or road use.

220 lbs
Front:
preload 2.5 lines showing
compression out 2 clicks
rebound out 2 clicks

Rear 1 1/4" sag
compression out 5 clicks
rebound out 7 clicks

The bike comes way too mushy from the factory, these work great for me.

Cheese those are the same settings as 2WF has in their article on the Busa. Just wondering if you knew that or found those settings from trial and error?

...I was hoping Johny B would repost his settings...I guess it is Dirty Pete's (190lbs) settings I am using, (1/2 less lines on the fork preload). This made a surprising difference in the handling characteristics of this bike...they should come set up like this with Michilin Pilots installed from the factory...and all bikes should have a web site like this one...my wife is jealouse of this site because of the amount of usefull and importent infromation that literaly flows from the members, and, believe it or not, the level of maturity and lack of flamers we have compared to most other sites...(try some different tire pressurs, too...they can have a marked effect on the way the bike feels ...I like 42psi rear, and 40psi front, but you will see that a lot of fast guys like softer tires well under the recomended 42psi, in the 35psi range...I weigh a bit under 170lbs in all my gear, and carry up to 20lbs of crap around as often as not...)
