would somebody list the settings for the
power commander with a pipe.
these are pretty spread out over the boards. it would help if we could get the
final settings to date in one location....thanks

Bob please email me your modified 003 map for the power comander. Did you do the changes for the airbox? What pipe are you using?

I have the Yoshi duplex.

Thanks

Bob, please Email the maps you created.
The software and maps are all available at the Power Commander II web site for download as well as tutorials.

This ability to send maps on the net is an awsome bit of technology, "year 2000 here we are" courtesy of Suzuki and DynoJet.

Don have you made changes to the stock map with a Yosh box yet. If you need settings let me know.

Bob have you put in the BMC filter yet?

We should open a thread just for maps and settings(Big Dog are you listening?)

Frank--I got your phone message, but late yesterday. We were riding-after more map changes since the airbox mod. Things are good now.
Anyway, its not that easy to post the settings. There are approx. 100 changes. Remember for 0%,2%,5%,10%,20%,40%,60%,80%, and 100% throttle positions and for every 500 rpm increment up to 11000 rpm there is a place in the map table for a change in fuel delivery. Its a dual map set-up. 0%-5% is the low end map and 10%-100% is the high end map.
The easiest way for me to send this is by sending the Power commander 2 file by e-mail. You can also pick up DynoJet's settings from their website. I modified the Micron full system, stock air filter map (M304-003). But, it is a good starting point. If you have the DynoJet software you can open these files. Without the software i would have to copy the settings from the table into a spread sheet or do it by hand and fax it to you. Which is O.K. as long as you have way to enter the settings into the stock ECM or maybe you have a different set-up now?
Let me know, I can do either for you.

i don't have anything here bob. if it's not a hole lot of trouble could you please send me everything i need for a busa with a pipe and air box mod...thanks

jeffw--Is your "racebike" modified heavily?

DynoJet spent time with many, many runs also, but only focused on the Busa with Slipons, full micron system, for now. (mild changes)
I only modified the low rpm settings of the Micron full system with and without air box mods. It may not work for everyone, but it worked for me in terms of driveability. I was able to feel the low rpm response changes and watch my fuel economy fluctuate after the changes between 29 and 42 mpg. My riding style can vary, but for the most part each change was left for 100 miles min to allow for peaks and valleys.
I agree that it is time consuming and you should have a good understanding of what and where you make changes before you do. I would think a modified bike (if thats what you worked with) would be difficult to tune. DynoJet only took a good dual map set-up from Suzuki and made modifications to it for Pipes, no cam change, head flow work, etc. This is the same thing they do for the carb. bikes which i'm sure you have used.(jet kits)
Anyway, its all I got and I believe it helped my bike over the stock Dynojet map for my set-up.
Thursday I Dyno run and hope to see what effect, if any we can make at the higher rpm set points.
Again, the changes I made so far effected idle and off idle up to 3000 rpm only.

We *attempted* to use the PC on our race bike this year (Suzuki GSXR750. Without a dyno and a bunch of runs (one team made over 700 dyno runs), you have little chance of getting it correct.

The idea of passing info between each other will not work. It might be a good starting point, but one group of settings will not work for everyone.

bob and i are in the same region. he can provide me with a good starting point.
i need the setting just for a streetbike. with pipe, pw2 and air box mod thats to date.....

Bob, the racbike is a SuperSport bike, you can do very little (valve job & degree the cams). We had many problems getting the throttle response at low rpm smooth (w/o throwing the rider off of the bike when you go from full on to off, or off to on).

I guess my statement about not getting it right was directed at those people who may not have access (or the money to spend) to a dyno.

We have 2 dyno's in my area, both are HD dealers and won't let sport bikes on them.
So I run mine at the AMA events (on the Factory dyno - Marc is a great guy).

jeffw, there is a hd in Belton which is 15 or 20 min. away that dyno's jap. bikes. there is also one in Topeka which is farther away that also does the same thing.
