Ok this sucks... went out this morning to check the bike over to head out for the Saturday ride and I found 18 broken teeth on my rear sprocket.
I was like FUKC! So I finally found a sprocket but when I went to put it on I realized the bolt pattern was different on my aftermarket wheels! Double FUKC! Well it seems that no one has or knows what sprocket I need.
So I found a factory wheel and mounted it up and then found the cause of the sprocket failure...chain has 3 links with worn out pins. The chain binds and locks when it rolls around the sprocket. Looks like its chain and sprockets time. One thing I have noticed is that my aftermarket wheel has a solid mounted Sprocket, no cush hub. Do you guys think I would be ok running a steel sprocket or will I be ok with an aluminum one once I get a new chain?
I still need to find a sprocket for my wheels... any idea on what brand of wheels these are?
