shift light

Does anyone know how to wire a dyna shift light . I picked one up on e bay used and there were no instructions. there are only 3 wires on it red black green .I am thinking red is pos black neg and green to tach wire. does anyone know if this is correct.

That's how my Raptor shift light worked - red pos - black neg - green tach lead.
