Shifter to high?

Has anyone else had to lower their shifter? I lowered it at least 1 1/4". It is easier to shift, and less fatiguing on long rides.

It was the second thing I did, the 1st was adjust the clip-ons to my reach/comfort level.

The bike come with a most bizzar setup (hmm could it be a 4'10" test rider in Japan? Don't get pissed here it's just a joke).

Always good to make rider/bike changes before riding off into the sunset.

Jeff, How did you adjust the clip ons? From the looks of them there is no adjustments possible available other than adjusting the lever heights. Tell me more on what you adjusted.

Sorry, what I was thinking and what I typed were two different things. I adjusted the levers, not the clip-ons. Suzuki has seen fit to not allow any clip-on or fork height adjustment.

Hell pre-load is hard enough (when your old and can't see) as it is.

On fork height adjustment, something is possible.

One of the Falcons lineman has a stretched white busa with some 1/4 to 1/2 inch plates under his triple tree that dropped his front end down to ungodly height above his front fender. Headlight looked like it was almost sitting on fender. I could not understand how he was doing wheelies on it.

Is that the proper way to lower the front suspension?

Also, any tips on changing out the rear dogbones to 750 bones?
