fits my head like a glove, I would consider my head a intermediate to a long oval. it's more quiet than my old arai quantum/f and definately flows more air.  the air flow switches are easily accessed, even with winter gloves on.  and this thing cuts though the air like a hot knife though butter. very slick. you can defiantely tell they did their homework in the aero dept.

Mr Anderson: is this the Shoei X-11 Vermuelen TC-5 that Shoei "Abruptly Discontinued"? and if so..do you have any idea "why" they abruptly discontinued it?..as i was preparing to spray a simular motiff on my busa and i'd be very interested to know why shoei dropped the vermulen graphics from their line.

BTW....you're gonna love that lid...static weight don't mean shid...just wait till you feel how slick that sucker is in the wind.

I can't find anything wrong in vermeulen land...

http://www.chrisvermeulen.com/

In quatar he poled 14th and finished up 9th...then in his 2nd ever GP event he placed 17th..he's an aussy up and comer who's new..young..and he's definantly got some serious skills...maybe the grapics were costly?..or maybe Chris is updating his graphics....left wondering why shoei would abruptly discontinue the X-11 TC5.

oh I did a test ride already and around 100mph it is like your head isn't even in the wind.

and about the vermeulen, that is a sore subject with me. I tried for weeks after I finally decided that was the helmet I wanted. apparently once shoei disco's a helmet, all retailers are to return remaining stock no matter what. they also discoed the byrne because that was going to be my second pick. I settled on the norick because I wanted a graphic that would catch peoples eyes(safety purpose) none of the other graphics did that in my mind.

(Mr. Anderson @ Apr. 06 2007,13:15) but thanks for rubbing in the one you got though with the pics
