I dont know much about them, any I should avoid?

i have a garmin 330 i bought 1year and half ago still use it no problems

Picked up the last tomtom at OSH this morning ... $99 and no tax! ( Pep Boys had the same one on sale for $139 ) I hope it is user friendly. I'm guessin this one doesnt have the bells and whistles like voice recognition ? We shall see.

Thanx everyone. - K

I'll keep ya posted.

I just got a Garmin C550 and I love it. Bluetooth - works great with my cell. MP3 player works well too. Sticks right to my windscreen and runs on batteries. I think its on sale at Circuit City now for $370.

Do you have a windows smart phone? I use the tom tom software on my phone, works great!

I think you're going to like the Garmin 2820. It comes as a 12v power supply GPS but you can use this Tourateck power pack for when your in a resturant. Also, a Touratech Garmin lock mount would be another nice addition for security.

. Get use to it, how it works and then you'll know what information you want to use and what info. you DON'T use or need. They can be very inexpensive for the basic knowledge and directions, up to VERY EXPENSIVE

I have the 330c it's marked down to a great price right now Walmart, Circuit City. I'm going to up grade to the Zumo 550, and give the 330 to my wife. I have a friend whos boyfriend works for, and writes software for Garmin, said, she can get it for me for around 500. They also sell reconditioned ones to. All models.

TomTom G910 awsome, bluetooth and 12volt and iTunes or MP3 player for your music. Download all GPS updates from internet. Been useing it for a long time with no issues about $360 @ Circut City..

To be quite honest, just about all of the GPS units available today are good units. Ya really can't go bad with any of them. Just depends on the bells and whistles that you want. I have a Cobra brand, and it doesn't have alot of extras, but it gets me where I need to go, and it didn't cost a fortune either.

Like I said, most all of them are pretty good right now.
