Really, I don't know if that thread offers the best analogy for what he is asking.
Loads of opinions of course, but what should be stated is that shorts stacks are a great thing if you are running in the upper torque and mph range. This "all short" combination is fabulous for mid to high range rpm's,,, once you get there. Great if you are a LSR person,, but not so much around town. You will lose your bottom end grunt.
