I know there'll be alot of mixed answers to this question but generally I want to get a response from the family. I could take off this aftermarket setup & sell it all, mount back to the OEM setup. Maybe swingarm extensions.

ahhh what's the question. If the question is can you revert back to an OEM swingarm then the answer would be yes. ???

it really comes down to a personal appeal. Some like the fatty some don't. If you're sorta torn you can always goto a 240. It still gives you the fatty look without going extreme.

Why. Just to get away from any custom mod always adjusting thing??????
Do you love the fatty and all about it: looks and ride?
Will you, could you have less to maintain with a stock arm, yes.

I have things to keep an eye on all over the MULLET, but I dont think I could go back to stock.....I would just miss everything.:beerchug:

I'm not a big fatty or stretch guy, but your bike looks very good. If you like it stay with it. Very tastefully done.

Now about those reflectors

how are you riding the thing? or wanting to ride it? (straights, cruising, twisties?)

(and how is the transmission issue?)

Get your tranny fixed back up...and go ride. Once its all back together again, you will forget about going back to stock arm!!! ITs just the down time that has you frustrated.

Could the tranny issue have been caused by the big fatty?? Dont know, but I hammer mine and no tranny issues yet:please:

x2 youll be glad to have it once your back up and riding. if you still feel the same about it once its back up im sure you could piece up a stock setup and go back.

Looks good. If you like it, keep it. IMO it would look better with the rear passenger pegs and mounts black powder coated.

Man, the fat tire looks awesome. I wish that I could afford something like that. Kits I have seen are 3k and that doesn't include the labor. I'd only do about 4-6 inches of extension though...if I could ever afford it.

Watching your other thread....seems, if you OSD kit would have been correctly installed in the 1st place.........you would NOT even be thinking about this.

I agree went it works its great:laugh: Down time sucks and i prob got the same directions i got which have been revised a number of times. Would have been nice if RR toyz paid attention to there customers:whistle::whistle: I got figures pointed at me and the best part only thing out of place was a washer everything else fine. Ama mech with 30 years experience

Yea but in his case......JACK at fullthrottle motorsports did the install on a NEW busa...then sold it to HIGHEST. I think THEY should stand behind the work that was not done correctly. "JACK" turns out several of these NEW modded busa ( 330, turbos, you name it done)...wounder how many others are NOT right.... aka missing a simple washer, or even more???
