Did anyone catch the Monaco F1 GP? Unreal speed! On the street at 175mph + No where to pass except the tunnel and that was dicey as 2 wrecks happened there today. Cant believe how narrow and fast that course is, I dont see how the guyz even have time to react... awesome!

Great race. I visited there last year - very cool to walk those streets where they run that.

i watched a little of it.. very cool.

They got that track on gran turismo 3.. just awesome.. it's gotta be the funniest track to drive.. even on a video game it's unreal how fast everything happens.

I watch the whole race.
Very interesting.
I was happy yo see Schummy out of the race.
He is the best driver but I hate the way he conduct himself.
I would have prefered to see him finish without any points.
I wonder exactly what happed, suspension failure, flat tire or a little push from Montoya due to Schummy slowing down too much?

was nice to see somebody else win.. thats my biggest gripe with F1.. seems like it's always one person running away with most races..

like this race... second place was what.. 70+ seconds behind? no much for exciting finishes ya know.

course I don't like nascar at all anymore cuz it's such a joke... but they do have close finishes almost always.

Schu 'brakes so hard'
Montoya remains resolute

Montoya blamed for Schumacher crash

Juan Pablo Montoya absolved himself of blame.

The feisty Colombian sounded 'almost apologetic' for nudging Michael Schumacher into a race-ending spin in the Monte-Carlo tunnel when on the car-to-pit radio.

But he told Autosport that the Ferrari ace 'brakes so hard' on warm-up laps.

"I didn't have anywhere to go," Juan, 28, told the magazine.

"I'm not going to say 'it's his fault' but I'm sure I'm not in the wrong either. He's done it before - with Jenson [Button] in 2000 at Monza."

Meanwhile...

Montoya's 'stupid' says Schumacher

...but Juan Pablo Montoya's just plain 'stupid,' according to the F1 Champion.

Montoya, 28, branded the German 'blind' after a clash at Imola. But, here at Monaco, it was Schumacher's turn to be angry after the BMW Williams driver nudged him into a race-ending spin in the Monaco tunnel on Sunday.

"I don't think he did it on purpose," said Michael. "But it was stupid of him to estimate the situation incorrectly."

Juan Pablo Montoya said if Michael wants to 'brake that hard' in the future he should not do it after a zone of massive acceleration in a dimly-lit tunnel.
