Sidi Vertigo or Vertigo Rain

I ride in the rain, I try not to but seem to always get stuck in it, granted not everytime is a wash out, but anytime it rains it sucks.

Here is my ? for people that have the Vertigo's are they waterproof at all, as do they keep your feet dry or as soon as it rains are your feet wet.

I like the vents on the side of the vertigo's but if I am spending $300 bucks I want some kind of water protection.-

So should I just man up and buy the Vertigo Rain's or do the normal Vertigo's hold back some water

Thanks guys.

upgrading gear for season, time to get some better protection

Just ordered the Sidi Vertigo Rain Boots, if I am spending that much money whats another $25 to make sure your feet stay dry

plus I had a 10% off coupon:thumbsup::thumbsup:,

get that economy going :laugh:

I have the Sidi Corsas & have ridden in rain & run off the track into the water - my feet have never got wet w/ the vent closed.

not that this helps but i got the stradas (size 50) and in the rain, my feet dont get wet unless its pouring.

IDK if this helps at all but I have a pair of Sidi Fusion boots.
They are waterproof and extremely comfortable and can also be used in warm weather.

I have never found waterproof boots that breathe as well as non waterproof.
I bought a pair of waterproof Gore-tex socks and they work great!
(Just have to change into them, but I try not to ride in the rain anyway, just get caught in it like you)

I have the vertigo air's. No doubt the most porous of the boots...lol . I have ridden in heavy rain in them and even though they are porous, with the vents closed it wasnt that bad. My feet got a little wet but since i figure i ride in the rain only 1% of the time the comfort of the air's is worth it... perfect choice in boots though. I would never own any other brand:thumbsup:

No matter what boot i wear i always have these on..Rocky Gore-Tex Socks
