Signal Flasher?

Anyone have the fairings pulled off and noticed if there was a flasher by the fuse box like on the previous generations?

Quite possible the CANBUS is controlled them on this bike. If I get lucky and does have a flasher, I'll replace it with the CustomLED so I will have 10 signal patterns to choose from.

I have mine apart, do you have a photo of what you're looking for? I wanted a reference because Im not familiar

If you go through the alarm warnings and conditions post I have isolated the chips on the gauge cluster that take the place of the old style flasher relay.

The front turn signals and chips are not in series with the rear turn signal and chips. They isolated all four turn signal circuits.

The picture of the chip is just one of many of those same chips they use for several different functions. The picture of the gauge cluster shows the two circled chips that control the left and rear turn signal circuits. If you want the front two turn signal chips notated I need to contact Noah in San Diego.

If for some reason you feel you have burnt out one of those chips, I have 17 of those chips available. I bought them in bulk from China, because I blew out my gauge cluster rear turn signal chips installing an alarm. It's fixed now, and works perfectly. Noah and his crew in San Diego did an expert job.

Well crap, guess that's out for sure on this bike. Thanks for the info!

I'll stick with just adding the flashing brake light module, just splices between the brake wire.

Actually, Noah's shop can take your pigtail between the wiring loom and the gauge cluster, install diodes in all the wires that go to the chips, and leave you one lead that goes to the alarm flasher wire. That will, in turn, flash all your signals without damaging the chips.

He used mine as the prototype. Works perfectly. See, I installed all those LEDs for flashing and I don't even need them.

If you need the number and the name of the shop just let me know.

If I have any reason to send it off, I'll definitely be requesting the signal pigtail. Wonder what else we can do to these gauges? I dig Suzuki finally gave us white illumination on the busa, but wished they'd spec'd out more pure white LEDs. The ones on my gauges have a purplish hue to them.

Led color change shouldn't be much different for places that do that kind of thing should it?
like Scottsbluegages ??

Yep I'd assume he'd be willing, he did the color change on my gen 1 & 2. I'd likely send these to Noah since he has experience on them and honestly would be equally as much for the signal pigtail. :)

I did order this last night for my brake light, thanks to Spud I didn't bother with the signal flasher just yet. I've ran this same module on the Gen2 as well before upgrading to the Triple Play that also turned the Gen2 signals into running/brake lights as well.

I'm the minority about flashing brake lights on the bikes, I think I'm just overly paranoid someone won't see me, lol. Plus choice of 10 patterns I find pretty neat. :)

i'll show you what I did with the LEDs versus using just the turn signals as flashers for the arm and disarm indicator. They also flash when the alarms going off. But you can run them together, or separate. I put in a three-way toggle that separates the two circuits.

Soon as I get the painted parts bolted up I'll shoot a quick video it actually worked out pretty good.

Hey, quick update for those looking to repair turn signal shorts and gauge cluster optic chip damage, Manny Arias is the genius behind Noah at LaJolla Audio.

Manny Arias has his own shop and his number is (760) 580-0182.

He is the electronic genius that has repair of these gauge clusters down to a science. I still have some turn signal relay optic chips available at $8.36 apiece. He does the labor but I still got a few chips.
