Hey,

I've had my busa for a few of days now and I was out tonight biking with my friend he just got a new R6...anyways I noticed the left signal lights were blinking alot quicker than the right ones so I figured a bulb was burned out(but the bike is 3 days old so I was like WTF). I looked at the front left signal and it has a hole smashed in it and there was a 10 MM bolt lying inside with a phillips head on it bulb broken and all. I'm pretty sure it came off the R6...

I'm going to call the stealership tomorrow and see how much a new one is and order it in my busa is 3 days old I can't be driving it around with broken signal lights. Has anyone here ever replaced their front signal lenses? How much is a new one? I hope it doesn't cost a fortune but I need it fixed! I am going to read the manual tonight and see what parts of the fairing I have to take off to get at that light.

thanks in advance

they are a ##### to get to... I do know that.

replaced my amber ones with clear alternatives alooong time ago.

I think i ended up taking both fairings off, and the black plastic inners up around the gauges also.. you can do it that way.. but it takes some doing.

Dunno about the price.. probably can find one on ebay fairly cheap. it's not a real hot item... the clear ones are especially in low demand since they come clear from the factory now.

Looks like the entire assembly is about $35 from Ron Ayers: <a href="http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/300_0306/turnsignal_lamp/turnsignal_lamp.cfm?man=su&groupid=5340&parent=5310">Turn Signals<a>.  Just the lens is about $25.  I did like Pure Ego and changed my stockers out for Clear Alternatives signals very early on.

I called the stealership today and it's about 35 bucks canadian funds. I would order it from the states but last few things I've bought off ebay they always nail me for duty at the border. That't not as bad as I thought. It will be in thursday...now to get the fairing off...

Just look at the fairing removal as practice. It's really not that bad, but does take some time. Go slow and you will be just fine.
