Hey Bro, You shouldn't have any problems with either Silkolenes Pro-4 10W40 (I've been running it since 2300miles)
or their Pro-4 PLUS 10W50. If you do alot of track days or just run your busa hard all the time you might want to go to the 10W-50, otherwise I would stick with the 10W-40 Pro-4.
Both of these are in Silkolene's "Race" line of motorcycle oils, and I have really been impressed with the difference in the tranny more than anything else. Silkolene claims more power, cooler running, less engine wear etc. but I cannot swear to anything other than the tranny feeling like butter after the switch. Now my mechanic did give me a raised eyebrow when I told him I had switched to full synth at 2300mi. so you might want to wait a little while longer, but my busa has shown no ill effects at all, no smoking, no oil loss, no slippage etc, motor is really healthy.
Anyhoo, Use a suzuki oil filter and get the filter cap, it will make your life easier. Oh and yeah, according to the owners manual:
Oil and filter change= (3.5 quarts, 3300ml, or 3.3litres)
Oil Change only= (3.3 quarts, 3100ml, or 3.1 litres)
And if you like, you could order your oil online.
Silkolene store(Select Race from upper left hand corner)
And check out a wicked filter to keep your new oil clean.
Scotts Filter
Also, Wal-Mart had a pretty handy funnel with Litre measures on it and an ON/OFF valve on the botton of the spout, it made measuring out my oil dead simple.
