Just traded my vmax in on a hayabusa. The question I hve is. This being my first fuel injected bike is there anything else I have to do if I upgrade to a k&n filter?with the max there was a jetting issue being a carb bike.

You can upgrade if you want to a aftermarket airfilter........but not at all necessary. Just ride it!

You'll need some type of Fi controller if you plan on doing any real mods.

+1 and :welcome:
Save your money, the bike stock is still going to try and tear your arms out of their sockets.

Just ride. I'm a newbie to the Busa (6500) miles. Don't need any performance mods YET. There is still more power than I am capable of finding. It still thrills the heck out of me when I twist it a little.:welcome:

Yep no point in changing to aftermarket filter unless you just like to tell people you have one on your bike. Of course if you have a drag built motor then maybe, but other then that... stay with stock one. They allow plenty of air flow. Can buy some "Bling" instead!
