I just got a silverstar bulb for the low beam. Went to Autozone and saw their rebate. $5 off for one and $10 off for a pair.

For you HID converts: I wanted (and still want) HIDs but after numerous PM to sponsors, no replies. Ill have to wait for a group buy I guess.

$5 off for those of you that dont want to take the HID plunge.

thats a H7 bulb? thanks for the heads up

Silver stars are nice . Send a PM to Xennonking he sells the HIDs . Or send a PM to KSWaterbug .

Anyone confirm the part numbers for the silverstars? I want to get at least a low beam while they have the rebate.

the low beam part no. is H7 ST not sure what the high beam is

I just stopped in Pep Boys - they have the 2-packs on sale with a $5 off coupon for $34.99 and a $15 rebate good until 10-20. The coupon is in the flyer that came with Sunday's paper and they'll give you the rebate paperwork at the checkout.

Do these use any more energy? Hi beam # ? and I guess HID's are better any cost? One dude at the fall bash has a set up so his lights wouldnt come on for 15 seconds then they turn on , That way you are getting all the battery energy to the engine for start up.. I dont remember who it was but that sounds like a hot ticket to me.. Buy silverstars and have a 15 second delay...

im fairly sure the high beam part no. is 9005 no more energy than the stock just brighter

Last night I went to put in the dim and the H7 ST didn't fit??? It fit into the housing but the prongs where to short and didn't reach past the rubber groument thing and couldn't reach the plug.. The H7 ST was about 3/4" to 1" shorter than the stocker in my 05'.. I'm bringing the stocker into the store with me this time. And maybe I'll do the brights at the same...

OK a duh Huh newbee question, So there are actually 2 bulbs? and if I use a 9005 on my high beams that will make a drastic change in my lighting? Or should I leave one of the bulbs stock and buy one of the HID kits that are for one bulb only ( maybe make the lows normal( stock ) and the high beams, HID? I see a lot of kits for just one bulb , cost about $110.oo Thanks for the help

Most do it the other way around.. HID in the low and stock in the high.. don't ask me why because I don't know..

HID would be the way to go, and they are for the low beam. I just swapped mine out to the silverstars yesterday, highbeam is 9005 and the low is H7. I can' wait to take it out at night..
