Skipped front wheel

Coming home tonight, I had an idiot following too closely in the numerous S turns between my apartment complex and the main road. Came to a straightaway and throttled the bike in 1st gear. Picked the front wheel up, completely inadvertently, just enough to skip. Did not have it completely straight when it landed.

I can envision very easily losing control of the bike in this type of situation, so will be mindful of this and will control the throttle (particularly in 1st) in the future.

Got the bike back from 600 mile service a couple days ago. She seems to have substantially more power now... not sure if it is because of me being a little more aggressive, or if the oil change truly opened things up a bit...

Nice... but she'll bite.

stay loose in the arms and you don't have much to worry about when the front end gets a little light. My front end is always comming up at the track, just stay loose.

You are getting more comfortable with the throttle. 600 mile service does NOT add any HP lol!!!

See, herein lies the issue. I'm starting to think I can actually >ride< the Busa and have fun doing it, rather than hanging on, white-knuckled, for dear life.

She's a thrill!

Now just need to get the cornering stuff down pat. I take corners VERY slowly, and probably will continue to do so because of gravel, road oil, and sand that seem so prevalent here.

Start off in 1st, get it up to about 2500 rpms and whack the throttle. Oh yeah, and hold on for dear life
