Skipping, and back-fireing

So i'm on my way back from a hard ride, and i start getting a little back fire. So first thought is Hmm exhust gaskets must be going. Then i start skipping, at this point i start hetting warried... I tihnk to myself **** this is going to cost me.

I just put the bike away, i was to frustrated to even look at it.

So today i say OK lets see whats going on. start it to see if still skipping, it is, but not all the time. Turn it off start stripping the plastic off, (remebering seeing a post last week of a hole on some guys block here). And notice all it is is 1 of the bolfs holding the exhust into the engine has loosened up and fell off. so my $2000 (in my head) projects was fixed with a $3 bolt.

thats good to hear, I just recently swapped out my exhaust also....so I will see if this happens to me also...and if it does I will point my finger at Lamb

Took 7000mi for it to shake loose, never had that happen before. must have missed the locktight on that 1 bolt... feel like a moron, but so dman relieved it was something minor.

Just an update, Got new bold today, installed it, ran around block a couple times to blow the un-burned stuff out of the jug. 100% fixed the problem, i'm so happy (and lucky)
