Sliders

Well as some of you know I had a low speed tank slap coming out of the driveway at 6:00 am heading to our group ride. The near perfect 03 is not so perfect anymore. Well, what do you expect when you buy her with 3k miles at the beginning of the season and she's over 6k now. Things happen and for me this just gives me reason to call out someone like say... Revolution... to work some magic next season.

First pics are of the damage. Right side, large center fairing bolt under the tank. Second are the sliders. I know there is a right way and a wrong way so i'll do a a search unless someone is feeling generous and provides some pics... now I'm not asking... I'm just saying...

Sorry couldn't resist... my wife took this picture of one of her girlfriends to show me what I missed last night resting for my ride this morning.

Snap I would GO with Option 2 screw the Yana's LOL!!! I would go with with vortex or another set that has the replaceable sliders.

Man Snap if you are going to continue to ride the twistie like you have been forget the cage it will decrease your ablity to lean as far n the corners and could cause you to high side. Just go with the sliders if that is really what you want to do

i'd go for the rubbers..i have the black hard rubber sliders on my 05 limited..since it was my first street bike, second bike period only to my 250 2stroke ktm..but anyway...dropped my busa 3 times on the right side..nothin busted yet 'cept my pride..only chewed the slider up a little and few marks on the plastic just forward of the case and right mirror a little..dealer installed apparently in the right place since nothin broke
