Slight popping?

Just put the D&D slip-ons on friday. I've noticed, not a backfire, but some "popping" a bit when i shift or when i let off the throttle. Is that a problem or is that a slight backfire i'm not really recognizing. If it is, i can fix it with the marble mod correct?

Yup - do the Marble Mod or remove the PAIR valve.

Same pipes here but on an 05 .......no popping . Must be some variation in the ECU setup from bike to bike .
