I was doing about 160 the other night and there was a wide crack in the pavement on the highway. As I was turned slightly my tire went along that crack and at 160 the steering wobbled for about 1 second... pretty scary stuff right there! But it went away. The Hayabusa is one of the most solid bikes I have ever ridden and I can't wait to put thicker oil in the steering dampner to make it even better!

My bike has never faltered 0 to 180. Smooth as hell and I installed the second front tire without balancing. Somethings wrong. Were you tucked

Is it a wobble or a weave
rock.gif
? If it's bouncing then it's probably a wheel out of balance or out of round. Have the dealer check it and rebalance. If your weaving, your probably not tracking both tires. Have the dealer check your alignment. The bikes come to the Dealer (sort of) unassembled, and they put the wheels on.

BUT DON'T TELL THEM WHAT SPEED you felt it at. Just say Freeway Speed

(Race_Harley @ Jul. 12 2007,02:08) I installed a third-party steering dampner to cancel that out. Maybe something to think about.

Peace.

Race
Shouldn't be anything to dampen. Fix the problem.

This bike is stable, smooth and perfect to 180+, anything less is a component issue...
