small power upgrade

ok im ready for some horsepower! my 2005 busa motor is all stock. i just got a steal on a D&D full system 4-2-2. i know they are not everyones favorite but for 600 to my door i fiqured id take it. i also will do the small box mod, and i got a pc3 to map it. my questions: should i wrap the chrome headers? will the map from power commander website work ok? what kind of power increase can i expect from all this? thanks

You can use that as a base map untill you get it dino tuned. My gas milage went to crap after my exhaust change alot has do do with my riding now but a dino tune may be the way to go especialy since you did a small air box mod.

ok, are there any other little mods that i should do while the bike is apart? again what kind of power gains are typical for this setup?

I would take the pair valve off while you have the header off. If you pull the nose to do the job, change the oil in the steering dampner. A dyno tune is a must. As far as HP increase prolly 5-8hp, I don't remember what the D&Ds make. Someone will chime in.

I personally wouldn't wrap the headers on a stock engine. I have the HMF dual high mount on a stock engine with no probs. In the fall I will be doing a 1441cc package. I am going to have the headers ceramic coated then.
