Small spot of rust on Exhaust - Permatex??

Hello!

So...holding out for a new system. However there is a small spot of rust that I'm hoping won't turn into a hole before then.

Anyone use this product? Does it work? Can it be used on the exhaust at temperature?

I've never used that before but it is made for body metal. I wouldn't think it would hold up to the temps of exhaust. Just hit the area with a wire brush and use BBQ paint to touch it up.
