Hello, boyz...

Here are the pix from the install of my smoked front signals for my '08.

I am incredibly impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail paid to the construction of these after-market pieces.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

I'm writing a review-article right now and will provide a PDF for you here on the .oRg.

There are eight pix...please stand by.

They took a total of 45 minutes to install, start to finish.

The pix are before/side-by-side/after. You know how it works.

Any questions, please let me know.

I'm also formulating my assessment to the manufacturer.

They do look good! Want to see your review of the HotBodies signals before making my decision though.

Right; thanks, me, too!

I'll have these on for about two weeks, then back into signal replacement surgery (facelift, you know) to install the HotBodiesRacing ones. I have a feeling it's going to be close...which ones I like better.

Looking at HotBodiesRacing.com, it appears that theirs are more blackened than the lighter smoked ones of Clear Alternatives fame.

Guess we'll have to wait and see...

More to follow...

Agreed and would rather have the darker lenses.

My potential issue with the seriously blacked out ones is the possibility that they'll be too difficult to detect and give the appearance of a large, gaping hole in the side of that gorgeous front fairing. I have yet to see the HotBodies gear in person, so all I can get is that which the pix on their site shows...not enough for a thorough assessment.

Hm. Again, I guess we'll see, eh?

Is it necessary to remove the nose of the bike?I have done it on a 2002 model a few years ago and must remove the nose.

Be wary of Hotbodies gear some of thier stuff is second rate and doesnt fit very well - I have bought a nundertail in the past (ZX10) and had to modify it to fit correctly - the tail lights I bought were cheap and nasty looking and I took them off after 1 day plus again teh fit was lousy as a lot of others discovered on another (BN) site.
