I was not going to post because it is my medical business but I decided that by posting maybe it will make some of you think a little. Last Wednesday I went to the dermatologist to have a spot looked at I left with having 3 Pre-cancerous spots on my hands zapped with liquid nitrogen and 2 spots on my back bioposied one requiring stitches to close. I am fine and I think they are all benign but please take care when out in the sun. Skin cancer is very treatable but can be very bad if left unterated. Slop a little sunscreen on, do it . :-)

Nothing to play around with. Glad you got it taken care of.

Sorry to hear, glad they got it.

I'm glad you caught it before it became serious. Melanoma can be a nasty little bugger.

My dad has had to have several spots removed from his face.

He tried the cream and the laser treatment but neither worked and the spot came back.

He finally went under the knife about 4 years ago and had it cut out. It's a simple procedure and it hasn't come back since then. But if it reoccurs he won't have enough skin left on his cheek to have it removed without seriously affecting the shape of his face. He can't resort to cutting again without risking reconstructive surgery.

It's nothing to play around with. Wear your sunscreen, people.

Glad they got you taken care of. Hopefully that'll be the last you see of it.

Had one taken off my back last summer. More importantly, GET A SKIN CHECK EVERY YEAR FROM A DERMATOLOGIST IT MUST MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE.

good advice...good thing im a gameing freak and never see daylight

I am 42 and I spend a lot of time in the sun and I have my whole life. Now I am just more careful with the sunscreen.
