I've been riding for over 25 years and it never ceases to amaze me how many things you see on the road (if you are lucky) that car drivers don't see or care about. Yesterday, coming around a corner, I spot a few small puddles (4" to 8" in dia.) of red oil (ATF most likely. They were across the road and saw them in time before I rode into them at a pretty good lean angle. Constantly looking at the road while riding is a natural part of my riding skills. It is amazing how much crap and hazards are on the roads!!
Twice in 25+ years of riding I have found two manholes in the middle of the road without covers on them. Always need to be looking!!
