I was sitting here a little bored and wanted to find out where everyone was riding on any big trips this year. Maybe some of us who have been there can offer advice on things to do or see.

So Far I have these planned:

- "The scenery tour"

Ride to Pictured Rocks/etc in Michigan's UP
Going to ride up the west coast of michigan, through traverse city/Tunnel of trees. Will probably hit the sporting clay place in the UP and gotta find some go-karts to get kicked off of...

- "Getting sleezy in the big easy"

IBA Saddlesore ride from Michgian to New Orleans, got the bus and want to get on the IBA site for a 24hrs ride of 1080 miles to New Orleans. I think we have 5 bikes on this one. Route is pretty much committed but I never been to New Orleans so definitely up for suggestions on what to do where to go, boobs to see.

- "The Black Sheep Ride"

Sturgis 2005 - Riding out ~1200mi with 2 Harleys(hope they make it), VTX, a BMW, and hopefully meeting a buddy from CO on his 12. We're staying at "the Chip" and will probably catch some boobs and get stupid drunk the first few days then I want to get far enough away from town into the mountains that I dont have to ride behind slow a$$ harleys

Will take any suggestions about Sturgis, I have some idea what to expect but no idea on what things are "Must Do's"

Thats it so far for the major trips. I do several weekend trips to wacky festivals (ie Fish Sandwich fest/cheeseburger in paradise/etc) and will probably go for the bike races in Mid-Ohio.

So what RU doin' this year?

In July, Laguna Seca for MotoGP. Anyone with a sport has to go, it's MotoGP!!!!

In June the 6-10th I will be heading to Montreal, Canada from Maryland for Grand Prix week. Thats the only trip this year on the the bike. I will be at Deals Gap in July but will be trailered down there.

Like Zukracer said. Cyclefest at Coppermountain, Colorado is going to be my big trip of the year.

Nearest one coming up for me is weekend after next with my brother. We plan on leaving Sunday afternoon, head north until we're tired of riding, grab some dinner and a hotel, (or campground) get up the next morning and ride til dark. I'm hoping for about a 600 mile trip.

Cool Lots of CO trips... We had a blast out there, its a pretty motorcycle friendly state (well at least the cop the let us off for drag racing out of aspen was pretty cool). Make sure you hit the Coors brewery I'm not a big Coors fan but fresh beer is good and they make some decent beer (besides coors) there...also if your a fan of South Park go visit Fairplay, CO

Here's a few pics from my last trip out there.
