I know there are a huge number of other available pics taken by Craig, Lamb, and Mark.

Mark has this awesome new camera which comes complete with a remote shutter control. Kick aSS. He got some shots of the group en masse...so as soon as he gets 'em downloaded....

Thanks all for a fantastic day.

We'll have to do more of these in the near future.

nice pics but could you post them in larger format? my old eyeballs would appreciate it... (bad enough it is too cold and windy here to ride today) Sure miss the left coast......

here's my day...

6:40AM sunrise at the top of 7 levels, looking down upon the Coachella Valley. It looks warm, but it was in the high 30's at that altitude.

Climbed Palomar Mtn. (renamed the Icy Sandbox for today) Beautiful views, although with a lot of fire damage from later last year.

Thanks guys for a great day. In between the ice and sand we got in some really nice riding. I'll post pics tomorrow.
Oh, after I split off I headed back up through Julian and strapped on two more apple pies. My bride got some french vanilla ice cream and I'm now full.

Thanks againf for a great day.

Definitely looking forward to your pix, Mark.

Good job on getting the pies on the back of your ride, too! That had to be some sort of feat!

Great getting out for our inaugural ride together...there will be lots more like it.

I miss socal and the rides badly -- got to sit home and watch it rain today
I did get to get hammered for a few weeks during Mardi Gras tho ;)

btw: I've uploaded the hi-res panoramic photos (4 in all) to here. (The site is still being built, so there's not a lot else there)
