softer seats....

maybe somebody else can help me here, i am looking for a new seat for my busa. theres so many out there but i want the most comfortable, softest one i can get my hands on. one that i can stay on twice as long as the stocker before my ass starts to hurt.

any suggestions?

i've had a corbin forever. luv it. BUT i have heard horror stories of their customer service....so it's kinda hit-or-miss.

i rode to the corbin factory and had them make a seat for me on the spot, thats the ticket! customize it to your liking. sent my OE home in a box, rode the rest of my trip on the corbin. riding on it ever since, 8-9yrs ago.

I bike had a Corbin on it when I bought it, and I thought it was nice. A fellow member on the Org. asked if anyone wanted to swap for a Tobin. I did and I loved the Tobin, but he was satisfied with the Corbin. For me, the Tobin is much, much better than a Corbin.

But... you'll need to sit on different seats and make up your own mind.

I just bought a new Suzuki gel seat for 59.00 on an ebay auction. Silver & black. it is more comfortable than my old Suzuki gel seat "all black neoprene". Those seats were 200.00 just a short time ago. Bought thru Leesons motors. They want 79.00 got for 59.00. Great deal !

I've had a stock seat, gel seat, New Image seat and a Corbin seat. For me the Corbin is by far the most comfortable, the gel seat is the worst.

Gel butt here! had a corbin, didnt like it. i can ride for hours on my gel seat..its that comfortable

all of these sound nice, but many of them look like they are just the stock seats that are reshaped. on ebay most of then say for drag/show. i really like this one 99-07 Hayabusa Custom Drag/Show Front Seat Chrome LOOK!:eBay Motors (item 140339611842 end time Sep-12-09 10:20:14 PDT)

but is the backrest helpful at all? seems like a gel seat would be much softer then a modified stock seat, am i wrong? also, i dont know about sitting lower in the bike. im 6'3, wouldn't that make my legs cramped on very long rides?
